A Hit And Run Post

Let me just say that you are awesome for having "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston on your ubertunes

It dawned on me that, after FALSELY being accused of being a 'stalker' whose 'personality sucks' (ouch!) by a psychopathic predator( they're judgemental, like that) 'I Will Always Love You' is probably NOT the wisest choice of first song. hahahaha

Maybe my second should have been "You're So Vain'......as no doubt, he probably thinks that song was about him. :) OR will pretend it is.....

I am currently holed up doing first drafts of witness statements ( for the high priced lawyer to tidy up and then bill me for MY work too, no doubt) as I am about to go to the HIGH (read:scary) Court over a property dispute, resulting from the estate of my late Grandfather.

It's a very interesting case actually, as the issues to be resolved includes boundaries from first ever property registrations in the UK, when your boundary was 'to that bank near the tree o'er yonder' with little kiddie drawings accompanying conveyances- no o/s maps, measurements- nada.

The judge is going to have a stroke !

Knowing that these types of cases always make the 6 o'clock news, and I wanted to keep my real name and blog separate from my real life legal battles, a certain pathological liar has bandied about my real and full name behind the scenes for months and recently published my name and county location ( for the benefit of any local rapists/murderers, no doubt)on his blog, amongst his usual fare of lies, he force feeds his dwindling readership.

It's funny how even the biggest coward is brave when BEHIND a p.c!

While I am at it, as my pc has been hacked into multiple times and emails have been erased, altered and some fabricated, I would be remiss not to make this public announcement:

Crushedbyingsoc is a malicious hacker and email thief and anyone who has had any past or present disputes with Mr- I -Don't-Believe-In-Censorship should ensure their firewalls and spyware are top notch and up-to-date.

And if pathological liar doesn't like this public announcement then he should keep his disused, little micro dick OUT of my email accounts and off my desk top, shouldn't he now?

Do you know how I was tipped off( aside from the most incriminating mails of his and his co-horts gone missing?) he PLAGIARIZED part of an e-mail I had written ( someone else) almost verbatim.
Seeing how far he would go with his lies( which I could refute) I faked I had tossed them out, only to later realize he had hacked me and tossed most out himself! Not the actions of an innocent man.

What a dildo!

The lawsuits people force onto you.....

I shall be back soonish with my usual outpourings of love, peace and harmony.

* The psychopathic predator, pathological liar and Crushedbyingsoc are one and the same. He can kiss my ass AND sue me if he doesn't like this 'publicity'.

Hip Mummy

My mum can be so cool at times , I swear she is more hip than me. And you know just saying 'hip' makes me 'square'. :)

Today she took the dog for a walk through the woods to go to the shop. She came back with this story.....

Hip Mama: "Do you know what the camp is called?" ( the camp for underprivileged kids to
have a break in the country, up the road here)

Square Uber:" No." ( I am not always so talkative)

Hip Mama: " It's called P.G L. DO you know what that stands for?"

Square Uber: " No." ( I am somewhat repetitive)

Hip Mama: " Parents get Lost!"

Square Uber: * Bursts out laughing* until I realize that she knew that and I didn't!I am becoming more fuddy duddy than my own Mother( Don't tell her I said that)

And so it transpired that, as she came out of the woods, some kids on monkey bars started giggling at her. The camp counsellor asked them what they were giggling at and one of the kids said," The fat lady with the dog." LOL!
* She's not that fat.

She then said to me," I probably looked a wreck, all hot and sweaty, and I realized as the kid said that, ' I hate kids."

By now I was in hysterics, which only worsened when Hip Mama said, "Of course I didn't mean it, I was just sweaty and grumpy."

And without much sympathy ( okay none, really) , like a true blogger, I asked " Can I blog about this?"

I guess I really am a blogger!
So there you have it- P.G.L- My Mum is getting youthful ( quite adolescent , at times) and I am becoming the oldie.

KILL.ME.NOW.

* P.G.L is not the official name, but what the kids call it.

A Case For Euthanasia

This post was inspired by a little ta do I was involved in, over at James's Nourishing Obscurity- one of my favourite all time blogs.

James wrote a very informative post about the American stats regarding Latino rates of , depression, unemployment & suicide, as well as their higher rate of births, as opposed to their American counterparts, essentially.
I found the not-so-veiled racist comments that followed his thought-provoking post a typical example of why this world is in such a sorry state of racial hatred and fear. They only proved my point that some people truly do need to be put to sleep.

Having lived in a multicultural society for many years, and being nicknamed United Nations Uber for reasons I won't get into, I have had the life-enriching experience of befriending peoples from a diverse gaggle of nations.

I would have it no other way.

I am so fed up with the ignorant notion held by too many that visual minorities are the undeserving benefactors of 'goodies' such as the opportunity for an education or job quotas on the basis that they first, curtail their propagation thus remaining a minority and second, they be forever grateful that they are being given anything at all- given their ' non white' status.

The other side of this oxidized coin....

Who wants to be reluctantly hired for a job/given a decent education/treated like a human being for no other reason than their ethnicity dictates that a quota or law must appear to be met? Then they are resented for 'cheating a white out of a position' or demanding something that they are not really entitled to. Given this prevalent attitude, it's not even likely they're going to meet with fairness and tolerance; be treated with equal respect and appreciation . They are simply a legally required statistic to make 'us' the majority feel we have done something Herculean to tip the balance of inequity. Begrudgingly, at that.

Why the Hell, do we have these legal quotas forced upon us, anyway?

Could it be because people, like the ones I had my say with, do not freely give, accept and respect ALL peoples of ALL races?
Do these closeted members of the KKK not even 'get it' that forced quotas are a true indication that the jobs and scholarships, as an example, are NOT being meted out fairly, with a disregard of colour, creed or race, by our benevolent 'white society'?

The OBVIOUS fact that our society needs to legislate an UNequal 'opportunity' to as few as possible shows the REAL lack of equality for all! And even then, it's considered too much to give by too large a majority....with the proverbial 'strings attached'.

KEEP YOUR NUMBERS DOWN!

How far have we come since Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation of 1862?

Don't kid yourself, a mere baby step! One need only look to Malcolm X's/Martin Luther King's assassinations or the disgrace that was Apartheid 100 years later.

It's these attitudes that make me want to live in a cave, with my books and films, and not talk to anyone.

I believe in the culling of people like this from MY society.
Some days they make me ashamed to be white!

This is why if I had my finger on the big nuke button- I would push it.

Twice.

I Stink, Therefore I Am...

Having been ill, as you know, I have had moments where my heart has been truly a-flutter with how great my readers are! Then I realize it's stress- related heart palpitations and I still have a fucking fever .
Oh well................It was nice to momentarily feel an over-riding feeling of.... anything really, but back to reality.

I HAVE survived!!! ,which means I am clearly NEEDED in this world( or the blog swamp at the very least) so I should do something good for the community for once....and here's it is.

Well, okay it's a rip - off from someone far more peaceable and earth friendly than me...but it's the fucking thought that counts! And may I remind you it doesn't cost you a cent to come here!

Do please read this and then head over for some superb writing from---> 'The Rest Is Still Unwritten'.

And try not to fuck up MY world , eh?

50 Clean-Tech Tips and Going Green Facts

I thought I would supply everyone with a little Ecotech news. Here are "50 Clean-Tech Tips and Going Green Facts" to help greenify the geek in you. (And don't ask me why those annoying little icons are beside every item on my numbered list. I'm feeling too lazy to find out why they are there and remove them.)

50 Clean-Tech Tips and Going Green Facts

  1. Selling refurbished PCs is now a $6 billion-a-year business.
  2. The "phantom load" (electricity consumed by "switched-off" appliances like TVs, radios, microwaves, etc) can add $200 a year to your bill.
  3. Switched-off devices account for 40% of the energy consumed by electronics in an average home.
  4. The U.S. government could save $330 million over a 4 year period if its data centers complied with Energy Star Version 4.0
  5. Extra heat generated by computers means more heat in the office, which translates to more use of air conditioning.
  6. Companies that sign for the WWF's Climate Savers Computing Initiative could reduce CO2 pollution by 10 million tons annually by 2010.
  7. At the 2008 CES, Fujitsu showed a laptop PC whose outside plastic shell is 50% vegetable-based polymer alloy.
  8. Creation of a desktop PC usually requires ten times the PC's weight in fossil fuels and chemicals, most of them toxic.
  9. 15 billion batteries are made and sold across the globe every year.
  10. If you're not sure where to donate out-of-use electronics, Recycles.org can match you up with nonprofit agencies that use old equipment.
  11. By 2011, more than 400 million PCs will have been purchased as replacements for current home and office computers.
  12. Typical U.S. cell phone users replace their phones every year and a half.
  13. 130 million cell phones each year go into retirement.
  14. Recycling 100 million phones would recover 3.4 metric tons of gold - gold that would not have to be mined.
  15. PCs contain gold too: 1.2 tons of PC scrap electronics has more than can be extracted from 17 tons of gold ore.
  16. Only 15% of Americans are aware that local recyclers will take old electronics and computers.
  17. Each year, the world generates 20 million to 50 million metric tons of e-waste.
  18. E-waste makes up 2% of solid waste in the U.S. and is the fastest-growing segment of U.S. garbage.
  19. Flaws in Windows XP's sleep mode and Microsoft's choice of "High Performance" as the default performance option may have added $5 billion to power bills annually worldwide.
  20. NASA, the Department of Defense, and the General Services Administration are all now committed to buying only EPEAT-certified computers.
  21. Manufacturing 1 desktop and 1 monitor requires 530lbs of fossil fuel, 58lbs of chemicals, and 1.5 tons of water.
  22. 12% (25 million) of Americans would pay extra for greener electronics. On the other hand, 41% (90 million) are not willing to pay extra.
  23. Wii is the power-saving leader of game consoles, consuming only 18.4 watts. Compare the hogs: Xbox (186W), PS3 (199W), and a PC (209W at peak usage).
  24. While old CRT monitors use more energy to show white than black, LCDs spend slightly more energy to show black than white.
  25. Don't recycle, Freecycle. There are 4,226 Freecycle.org online groups helping more than 4 million users give away "junk" to others who can use it.

  45. Take an HP, Lexmark, or Dell printer cartridge to Staples for recycling and you will get a $3 coupon for ink or toner.
  46. Energy Star 4.0 is quite stringent, demanding highly efficient power supplies and very-low-power idle modes.
  47. Unplug! Each year in the U.S., electronic devices that are turned off but not unplugged use electricity worth $3 billion.
  48. Blog, it eliminates the need for paper, thus saving a tree.
  49. Or better yet, turn off your laptop or PC and go outside. If we are going to having global warming, you might as well enjoy the warm weather it brings.
  50. Last but not least, paint your laptop and/or PC green. It will trick the components inside into running at a more energy efficient level. Ok, fine, this last one is a lie. But using a green colored computer will make you look hip to all those that have jumped aboard the "going green" bandwagon.
